tools for self reliance
Tools for Self Reliance collect tools from those no longer in need of them and send them over to Africa for individuals to use to build homes, learn skills and create community bonds.
Tools for Self Reliance believe
'Every tool we send, every new skill learnt, means a person, a family, a community, benefits. And that means every penny we raise will help transform a life. Our projects support people to find meaningful employment and to secure an income that will support them and their families' - https://www.tfsr.org/home/about/ - Feb 2025

The Dust Project
Rotary were contacted by the Dust Project to help them fund a new school play area for the children 🛝⚙️
The Dusk Project is non-profit organisation in Sri Lanka working to support children and strengthen local commerce. They also provide foundational security for families to thrive within their communities 🧑🧒🧒
Before the rejuvenation - the ground was waste ground just beside the school, laying overgrown and unused 🌿
Ware Rotary along with Inner Wheel gave donations to prepare ground works and buy playground equipment for the young children within the school.
It was a nice surprise to be sent over a picture they have put up a plaque recognising both Ware Rotary & Inner Wheel for their donations to the playground project. We hope it brings many years of memories and joy to the children!
